2. Professional Certification: A valid National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the Lineman Trade is mandatory.

The selection will rely on a comprehensive Computer Based Test (CBT) divided into two main segments. There is no negative markingand the exam spans 3 hours (180 minutes).

Part-I: Punjabi Language Proficiency (Mandatory Qualifying)

• Questions: 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Rule: you must score at least 50% (25 marks) to even have your Part-II evaluated.

Part-II: Main Merit Test

• Lineman Trade (Technical Questions): 50 questions
• Punjabi Language Basics: 20 questions
• General Knowledge: 10 Questions
• Reasoning Ability: 10 questions
• Arithmetic/Maths: 10 Questions
• Total: 100 Marks (Your final merit ranking depends solely on these 100 marks).
