3. Single Online Exam Pattern (Scale-II GBO & Scale-III Senior Manager)

Candidates appear for a single test carrying 200 questions (200 marks) across Reasoning (50 marks), Computer Knowledge (20 marks), Financial Awareness (40 marks), English/Hindi Language (40 marks), and Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation (50 marks) in 120 minutes.

For Scale-II Specialist Officer, the paper contains an additional Professional Knowledge module (40 questions, 40 marks), making it 240 questions for 200 marks with a total time of 150 minutes.

Marking Scheme & Interview Weightage:

  • Negative Marking: A penalty of 0.25 marks (1/4th mark) is deducted for every wrong answer.
  • Interview (Officers Only): Conducted out of 100 marks. Minimum qualifying score is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
